Abundant intergrown crystals of cubic, deep olive green Pharmacosiderite crystals measuring to 3 mm line several open, shallow vugs in a ferruginous Quartz matrix from Wheal Gorland, St. Day, Cornwall. Many crystals display a slight orange tint within their various shades of green, giving them a slightly acidic green appearance. Although Wheal Gorland is not the type locality for Pharmacosiderite, it is one of this mine’s classic minerals. Pharmacosiderite is a hydrated basic ferric arsenate.
