An unusual and rare specimen from North Crofty at Pool, Carn Brea, Cornwall, now part of the more well known South Crofty mine.  Perched on two conjoined naturally corroded Quartz crystals are a number of Calcite crystals, the dominant two being of wheat-sheaf habit, milky-white crystal sprays, both 3.5 cm long and splaying out to 2 cm across at the broader ends.  An interesting Cornish specimen of rare habit and even rarer locality.
