Rich, drusy layers of micro-crystalline Bayldonite richly coat a block of cryptocrystalline Quartz, from the old dump at Wheal Carpenter at Fraddam, in the Gwinear-Gwithian mining district of Cornwall.  The Bayldonite forms deep emerald to holly-green druses.  This specimen was collected by Sir Arthur Russell in 1949 and comes with an Arthur Russell hand written label.
