A highly lustrous cluster of deep inky-blue Azurite crystals form an exquisite miniature rosette. This specimen is from the classic Bisbee mining district in Cochise County, Arizona, USA. The sharp, arrow-shaped terminated Azurite crystals, each to about 1.5 cm along the prism edge, grow in sub-parallel, curved arrays around a central hub, resulting in a petal-like appearance. A 1 x 1.3 patch of Malachite is attached to one side. A great example of an Azurite rosette from the world famous copper mining district of Bisbee.
