A hidden dome of ironstone matrix is totally encrusted with almost colourless elongated cubic Fluorite crystals, tinged pale sea-green and surrounded by stubby and quite gemmy colourless Quartz crystals.  This specimen is from the famous Heights mine in Weardale, County Durham, England.  Many of the Fluorites are dusted with glassy, sub-mm double terminated Quartz crystals, and where these have been naturally dislodged, leave a Tower of Babel-like depression in the Fluorite’s surface.  In sunlight the Fluorite fluoresces pale wispy shades of lavender.
