Trevinnick mine worked an antimony-lead-zinc deposit about 6 km north of Wadebridge, towards the north coast of Cornwall.  It produced a limited suit of minerals amongst which was Pyromorphite and this small cabinet/large miniature is completely characteristic of the locality.  Pastel lime green Pyromorphite crystals totally coat a roughly textured Quartz gossan, the base of which is heavily stained with rusty iron oxides.  The Pyromorphite forms hexagonal prismatic crystals to a little over 1 mm and many much smaller than this, appearing as minute acicular tufts and sprays.  The entire specimen is a mottled mix of light green Pyromorphite and light tan biscuit matrix.  A good example of Pyromorphite from Trevinnick mine by St. Kew in Cornwall.
