A wonderful Native Copper known to originate from Cornwall and thought most probably to be from the St. Day mining district just east of Redruth.  The specimen forms an open, porous mass of stacked pisolitic to botryoidal spheres of Native Copper, all with a blackened to mid-chocolate-brown patina.  One 1.5 x 1.5 cm area has a group of complexly developed and intergrown worm-like strands of Copper, making a most unusual feature on the specimen.
