Highly lustrous, rich caramel-brown composite crystals of Campylite, a variety of Mimetite, form a roughly 4 x 2 cm cluster on a milky Quartz matrix.  The Campylite occurs as rounded, barrel-shaped crystals developed to 8 mm across.  A good example and great colour of Campylite from Dry Gill mine in the Caldbeck Fells, Cumbria, England.
