A slab of Quartz veinstone, the upper surface of which is partly covered with sheaves of pale green prismatic crystals of Pyromorphite, frequently to over 1 cm long.  The Pyromorphite ranges in colour from a bright yellowish green to mid-siskin green.  It is accompanied by four labels, two from the Chicago Natural History Museum (Department of Geology), a British dealer label and a private collection label.
