This miniature cluster of intergrown elongated Fluorite crystals is from the West Pasture mine near Stanhope in Weardale, County Durham.  It is the beautiful and characteristic tangy citrus light apple-green this mine is well known for, but with an added hint of dusky lavender along some edges and faces.  Elongated cubic crystals are not common at West Pasture and this is a fine example, the largest crystal measuring 2.5 x 1.9 x 1.7 cm.
