A solid mass of intergrown acidic greenish-yellow Pyromorphite crystals from the Roughton Gill mines, one of the principal mining locations within the Caldbeck Fells of Cumbria.  This heavy small miniature is covered with stubby hexagonal, glassy prisms of this striking astringent colour which sit on more granular Pyromorphite of a matt siskin-green.  A little granular milky Quartz is attached to the base.  A nice example of Pyromorphite from this famous British locality.
