A deep bed of predominantly colourless to milky-white scalenohedral Calcite crystals with sharp dog-tooth terminations form a most attractive specimen from the famous Stank mine, close to Barrow-in-Furness in Cumbria, England; formerly in the county of Lancashire prior to boundary changes.  The mine closed in 1901 and is well known for its terrific Calcite specimens.  The crystals range from semi-transparent to mainly translucent and a few show pink phantom cores, coloured pink-red by Hematite inclusions.  A west Cumbrian classic.
