A rare specimen of Cattierite, a cobalt sulphide, from its type locality at Shinkolobwe mine, in the Katanga Copper Crescent of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.  The Cattierite occurs as a grey mass amongst metallic grey Siegenite (nickel-cobalt sulphide) in milky Quartz matrix.  Shinkolobwe is a remarkable mine in that it is the type locality to 38 of its 131 recognised species.
