A very rare and large specimen of Marshite CuI and Miersite (Ag,Cu)l on a mixed Cuprite-Tenorite-Sulphide matrix with some green Malachite, from the Broken Hill Proprietary Mine. Australia.  Well-formed intergrown lustrous crystals and micro-crystal of light orange Marshite are richly formed over the display face of the specimen. Micro-crystals of light yellow to colourless crystals of Miersite are also inter-grown with the Marshite. A super rich specimen of two rare iodates seldom seen from the mine in this abundance or this size of specimen.
