A fine gemmy to a translucent prismatic crystal of Elbaite measuring to a good 9cm tall with typically striated prism faces. A crystal specimen displaying an excellent colour transition from white to shades of green upward to pink with pale green termination. The termination has interrupted growth on one edge where it has grown against a preexisting mineral. At the base of the Elbaite is a colourless crystal of Quartz, while many faces of the Tourmaline have crystals of purple-pink Lepidolite. A pleasing Elbaite from the Himalaya Mine, California, USA.
