Two perfectly formed and terminated crystals of jet-black Schorl, the iron-rich Tourmaline member, from Stak Nala in the Haramosh Mountains of Pakistan. The crystals measure 3.4 x 1.5 x 1.5 cm and 3.9 x 2 x 2 cm and have vertically striated prism faces with perfect flat triangular pinacoid terminations. The crystals are embedded in a group of gemmy snow-white rosettes of the Cleavelandite variety of Albite feldspar. A perfect specimen and example of Schorl from Pakistan.
