A fine specimen of light peppermint green Cuprian Adamite from the Ojuela mine in Mexico.  Excellent lustrous gemmy to translucent intergrown crystals of Cuprian Adamite in the 4 mm region fill a cavity in a characteristic rusty red-brown Limonitic matrix.  The highly lustrous Adamite crystals vary in colour when viewed under low magnification, from delicate peppermint through to a darker mint leaf green, but manifest as an overall peppermint.  A rich and eye-catching specimen.
