A first-class cabinet display specimen of large glassy hexagonal Strontianite crystals, richly scattered over a mounded matrix of snow-white Celestine as sub-mm crystals. From the classic European locality of Oberdorf an der Laming in the Laming valley, Styria, Austria, the Strontianite (SrCO3) forms translucent, double terminated crystals to 2.2 cm long and 0.8 cm across flats. Strontianite crystals from this locality are without a doubt some of the finest in the world.
