A large, almost circular plate of snowy-white Quartz is richly coated with magnificent octahedral Fluorite crystals in two sizes ranges and colours.  The specimen is from the De'an Fluorite mine at Wushan, Jiangxi Province, China.  Large translucent octahedral Fluorite crystals range from around 1 cm to 3.5 cm on edge and are coloured a minty-sea-green with delicately tinted purple face edges and tips.  Smaller Fluorite crystals of between 0.2 and 0.6 cm surround the larger crystals and are of a paler green but with much more vivid purple edges and often purple tinted faces.  A very showy Chinese octahedral Fluorite with a striking distribution and contrast of colours.
