Coronadite

ID: CC15312

A very colourful specimen considering this is a manganese mineral, composed of a waterfall-like cascade of stalactitic Coronadite. Near to the base of the specimen, Coronadite is yellowish with several spherules of very pale Malachite and nearer to the top are remnants of a carbonate mineral, most probably Calcite, together with pale Malachite and Azurite as inclusions in the Calcite. A great example of Coronadite from the Tsumeb mine.
