A nice miniature of pure light emerald to leafy green Malachite from the Tsumeb mine in Namibia, with all the hallmarks of what is commonly termed primary Malachite, i.e., that which is not pseudomorphed after Azurite. The Malachite forms as striated etched banded plates with a distinct foliated direction, with micro-crystals of colourless Cerussite interspersed between the plates.
