This fine small miniature of the extremely rare lead-copper phosphate Tsumebite is from its type locality at the Tsumeb mine in Namibia.  This species was discovered early in the history of the mine in 1912, as it is only recorded from the supergene and 1st Oxidation Zone of the orebody.  Sub-millimetre well crystallised sprays of peppermint green Tsumebite occur as spear-shaped twins in sparse small patches over one surface of a micro-crystallised, pink tinted cream Dolomite.  A splendid and rare example of Tsumebite from the Tsumeb mine.
