Micro-crystalline Hydrocerussite forms a powdery white surface coating on small tabular crystals of Cerussite from the Tsumeb mine in the Oshikoto Region of Namibia. The largest Cerussite crystal measures 1.8 cm tall and is one of three main crystals. The Hydrocerussite has a pearly lustre and coats a good 80% of the Cerussite. The specimen is mounted on a labelled, small, clear acrylic base. This specimens belonged to a well-known and highly respected private collector of Tsumeb thumbnails and miniatures.
