Aragonite var. Zincian Aragonite

This fine miniature Aragonite is from the Tsumeb mine in Namibia and is the zinc-rich variety Zincian Aragonite, also named Nicholsonite. The Aragonite forms a tight intergrown cluster of opaque snow-white rhombic crystals to 1.4 cm on edge which are attached to a tiny bed of similar 1 mm sized crystals.
