Cerussite with Linarite

ID: CC16027
A choice thumbnail of semi-transparent, colourless Cerussite crystals from Tsumeb mine, Oshikoto Region, Namibia.  The Cerussite (lead carbonate) forms a blocky and long prismatic crystals, the tallest of which is dusted with sucrosic micro-crystals of inky sky-blue Linarite.  The presence of Linarite is always an indication that this was an early mined specimen from the outcrop, near surface or first Oxidation Zone.  The specimen is mounted on a small square acrylic base.
