The copper-lead sulphate Linarite only occurred in the surface outcrop (The Greenhill) and first Oxidation Zone at Tsumeb.  It is a Tsumeb species not so easily obtained and specimens so rich in Linarite as this are exceptional.  Almost all of the 4.0 x 3.7 cm display face is covered with vivid azure-blue crystallised Linarite, with only occasional patches of the light green Brochantite matrix showing through. Small areas of massive colourless to pale tan Cerussite are also present.  A superb old-time Tsumeb Linarite with Brochantite, accompanied with an early handwritten label.  Very choice indeed!
