This cabinet Fluorite is composed of a few relatively large, interpenetrant cubes of greenish, pale yellow Fluorite with a bright glassy lustre.  From the W├Âlsendorf Fluorite Mining District in Upper Palatinate, Bavaria, Germany, the crystals are patchy, mottled mixture of transparent to translucent zones, certain corners of which grading towards a transparent pale green-tinged lemon, with occasional gemmy zones.  The largest cube measures 5.3 cm on its longest edge and two other crystals are of the 4 cm+ range.  All crystals contain disseminated sulphides; some clearly visible as brassy Chalcopyrite, but the majority as very-fine grained black particles, giving a darkened, speckled appearance and narrow black zoned bands close to the edges.  A very fine display Fluorite from W├Âlsendorf in Bavaria, Germany with a patchy purple to whitish-purple fluorescence in LWUV.
