An old-time specimen of broad flattened blades of the lead chromate Crocoite from the type locality at the Berezovsk (or Berezovskoe) Gold deposit at Ekaterinburg, in the Middle Urals, Russia.  The Crocoite is a slightly burnt orange-red with the largest blade measuring 2.9 x 0.6 cm.  A good example of Crocoite from this historic deposit.
