Specimens from the Lavrion-Kamariza Mining District tend to be inherently aesthetic and this small miniature is no exception.  A very thin plate of hidden matrix forms a Mercedes-Benz style three-pronged star, both sides of which are coated with gemmy micro-crystals of bright-blue Azurite.  Scattered over the Azurite are sub-mm Malachite pseudomorphs after Cuprite as complex cuboctahedral crystals, a small but choice rarity for the Lavrion district.  Overgrowing the Azurite are spherical clusters of translucent, milky-grey Calcite tinged pale blue by the underlying Azurite.
