Nickeline (Niccolite) with Gersdorffite, Galena, Annabergite and Fluorite (2 Pieces)

ID: CC16847
Although mention is often made in the literature to the rare nickel mineralisation in Hilton mine, specimens are seldom seen on the market.  Hilton is, of course, best known for its superb yellow Fluorite, and this is a great opportunity to acquire some fine additions to the suite of minerals found here.  Two separate specimens show good examples of the nickel arsenide Nickeline: the nickel arsenic sulphide Gersdorffite and the hydrous nickel arsenate, Annabergite, occurring as bright lime-green crystalline blades.  The Niccolite is particularly rich in the smaller of the two pieces and displays beautifully a gently undulating botryoidal surface, a very rarely seen habit at Hilton.
