Lustrous glassy blades of semi-transparent Anglesite (lead sulphate), with a pale lemon-tan, hue cover an end face of a small block of massive Galena.  This specimen is from Bage mine at Cromford in Derbyshire, England.  The crystals are developed to at least 1.5 cm long, making this a very good and rare specimen for this famous mine.
