Willemite, a zinc silicate, is known to occur throughout the Tsumeb orebody. This small miniature is formed of amalgamated balls of teal-blue and black Willemite of up to about 7 mm diameter, all with a sparkling glassy lustre. The inter-developed spheres create botryoidal surfaces and is a terrific example of this species from Tsumeb. Willemite is commonly white or colourless, hence the teal variety tends to be more striking for display. The specimen comes unattached with a labelled square acrylic base from the collection of a famous Tsumeb collector.
