A stunning group of interpenetrantly twinned Fluorite crystals from Crich quarry close to Crich village, a little south-east of Matlock in Derbyshire, England.  Crich quarry has been operating since Victorian times, well back into the 19th Century and is probably most famous for its deep honey-amber coloured Fluorite.  This magnificent specimen was collected around 1935 and is fairly unique amongst specimens from here, with large well developed semi-translucent cubic crystals to 5.5 cm on edge, coloured light fawn-tan with creamy off-white well defined edges and giving a remarkable geometric effect.  A great and historic Derbyshire Fluorite.
