A beautiful band of dark olive-green Olivenite crystals to 2 mm cover one side of a milky Quartz veinstone with the odd 1 to 1.5 cm wide Quartz crystals punching through.  From Wheal Gorland in the parish of Gwennap, close to Redruth, this was one of the most famous mines in Cornwall, due to its magnificent suite of arsenates.  A terrific Gorland Olivenite which will look good in any collection.
