This miniature Native Copper is from Cornwall in south west England, although no specific mine can be attributed.  The specimen is composed of an open three-dimensional network of crude yet distinct Native Copper crystals with a sharp, hackly texture and most attractive mauve-purple patina.  Its structure reminds me of the Crab Nebula.  A lovely specimen which if researched can probably be better localised as to its provenance.
