Large intergrown lustrous crystals, to about 7 mm across, of Cuprian Adamite, cover the surface of a brick-red, iron-stained Dolomite matrix from Tsumeb.  The Adamite is most unusual in that its colour varies markedly, including bluish amazonite-green; dark-leaf green and opaque pale peppermint greenish-white.  Individual crystals can exhibit all three of these colour variations, giving a patchy, mottled appearance.  The crystals are sharp and well terminated and form a fascinating and somewhat different Cuprian Adamite from Tsumeb.
