Lemon, mustard and dark ginger-yellow brown films and thin crusts of Mottramite coat Calcite and Baryte crystals from Judkins quarry at Nuneaton in Warwickshire. This small cabinet specimen comes with two labels; one stating Judkins quarry, the other Tuttle Hill quarry. Both are correct as the location is on Tuttle Hill and this was the original quarry name. Judkins was a roadstone quarry which ended quarrying operations in December 1996 and is now a landfill site. This is an exceptionally good example of all three species for this well known quarry amongst UK collectors.
