An excellent cabinet display specimen of the strontian sulphate mineral, Celestine, from the famous English locality of Yate quarry in South Gloucestershire.  The Celestine crystals grade from pure milky-white to completely colourless towards their terminations and are typically developed to 3 to 4 cm tall and broad, as glassy tabular intergrown crystals.  A beautiful example of Celestine from Yate.
