A half nodule of beautiful snow-white Natrolite with a central vug of terminated crystals from Magheramorne quarry at Larne, County Antrim, Northern Ireland.  Composed entirely of Natrolite, silky, inwardly radiating acicular needles form a 1.5 to 2 cm thick shell, the centre of which contains a 4.0 x 2.5 cm vug and around which the crystals of the shell terminate.  Even the outer rind of the nodule has an excellent 1.5 cm diameter Natrolite spray.  A first-rate example of Natrolite, a member of the Zeolite Group, from Magheramorne basalt quarry.
