An unusual and fascinating Galena from the famous Naica mine at Mun. de Saucillo in Chihuahua, Mexico, now world-famous for the cave encountered in the mine containing giant gypsum crystals up to 14 m long.  Granular Galena forms the matrix of this specimen over which complex Galena crystals reach 3.5 x 1.6 x 1.5 cm and whose faces are built from reverse hopper structures of concentric squares and rectangles of stacked Galena.  A superb specimen.
