A characteristic specimen of Aurichalcite and Hemimorphite from the Golconda mine, close to Hopton in Derbyshire, England. Botryoidal clusters of pale blue-green Aurichalcite form in areas measuring to nearly 2 cm with iron oxide-included crystalline Hemimorphite on an apricot-tinged cream Baryte matrix. This small cabinet specimen comes with the previous collector’s label (a little water damaged) who collected it in October 1984 while undertaking extensive underground research.
