• Fluorite

ID: CC17459
A delightful miniature of deep purple and emerald-green glassy Fluorite from the Okorusu mine in Namibia.  This large open pit to the north of Otjiwarongo produces a suite of over 30 mineral species but is most famous for its wonderful Fluorites.  This choice small miniature has about six to eight intergrown cubic crystals, all with the locality’s characteristic deep emerald sea-green with intensely deep rich purple corners, all with a superb bright glassy lustre.  The largest crystal measures 2.4 x 2.1 x 1.4 cm and displays most attractive stepped corners.  A gorgeous miniature.
