A stunning bed of dark chocolate-brown to golden-tan lenticular Siderite crystals from Tincroft mine at Pool, Carn Brea, Cornwall; Pool is midway between Camborne and Redruth. The thin bladed crystals measure up to 1 cm across and are translucent to semi-transparent in parts.  In addition to being the type locality for Pharmacosiderite, Tincroft mine is perhaps just as famous for its wonderful Siderite specimens.
