A naturally worn nugget of solid, high-quality Turquoise from Arizona, USA.  The outer mamillary surface is partly-eroded, probably through river action, giving a pitted, undulating crust of vivid turquoise-blue.  One end has been cut and highly polished, which indicates a good hardness to take such a good polish; this cross-section reveals the true intensity and depth of colour.  A superb Arizonan Turquoise.
