Ludlamite is a rare iron-manganese-magnesium phosphate and this very fine specimen shows the wonderful quality of what has been produced from the Cabeça do Cachorro claim in Amazonas, Brazil. Deep apple-green broad stepped crystals of typically 1 cm long richly cover a cream-buff matrix coated with micro Siderite crystals.  Beautiful Ludlamite crystals from the Cabeça do Cachorro claim, Brazil.
