A beautiful, vibrant bright green cluster of twinned Fluorite crystals measuring to 1.5 cm, from Zero Level (Bottom) at Rogerley mine, Frosterley, Weardale, in County Durham. This small cabinet specimen was collected in the late 1970s and was in the Patricia Greenbank collection, now accompanied with her label. The gemmy crystals have either mirror-flat faces or micro-striated faces and cover a mid-grey and sandy coloured altered limestone matrix. The Fluorite exhibits mild daylight fluorescence which intensifies the green and under LWUV fluoresces brilliant bluish white. This is a terrific example of Rogerley mine Fluorite, competitively priced at $225.
