Fluorite with Dolomite, Pyrite and Quartz
ID:
CC17736
Large, semi-transparent, hexagonal Quartz crystals with colourless cubic Fluorite crystals form a large mound highlighted by occasional clusters of cream Dolomite crystals. This good-sized Cabinet specimen is so typical of Cambokeels mine at Westgate in the Weardale Valley of County Durham, England. The individual Quartz crystals are milky with an excellent glassy lustre and average around 2 to 2.5 cm across. This specimen is accompanied by a detailed collection label and a yellow dealer’s label.
