The Kabwe mine, formerly known as Broken Hill, in Zambia is famed for a number of its classic minerals, one of which is Pyromorphite which can occur in a few different habits.  This specimen is a composite group of golden butterscotch crystals which form a highly lustrous, glassy dome some 3.5 x 2.5 cm across.  The specimen is glued to an acrylic base, but this can be removed if required by softening the glue in warm water.
