A spiky, hedgehog-like specimen of colourless to slightly milky Quartz crystals, all with their terminations and upper prism faces included with finely disseminated Hematite, giving the crystals a brick-red colour.  The Quartz crystals are also dusted with particles of black Hematite.  An attractive specimen from the Warmbad area adjacent to the Orange River in the Karas Region of Namibia.
