This thumbnail size assembly of gemmy Azurite crystals is a true delight. Scattered over a tiny matrix of micro-granular Calcite crystals, Azurite crystals of the most magnificent deep and rich azure-blue catch the light both as brilliant reflections from the glassy surface and as piercing electric-blue blades when back-lit. The main vertically-orientated blade measures approximately 1.3 x 0.7 x 0.2 cm and the specimen is enhanced even more by little patches and micro-spheres of Malachite.
